Grains and Wheat
The Wheat Cleaning System provides an important solution to the grain industry: efficient screening at very high volumes. The innovative approach of using primary and secondary systems delivers feed rates as high as 30,000 BPH in one line.
The primary system achieves wheat yield of 90% to 98% and a dockage level that meets or exceeds the standard of 0.3%. The high yield provides operators with greater flexibility and more options. Wheat can be shipped immediately or cleaned in the secondary system to reclaim additional wheat. When such a system is required, Arcon has the experience to configure secondary systems to meet each operator's specific requirements.
HOW IT WORKS
The gyratory motion of the screener spreads the wheat across the full width of the screen, eliminating the need for multiple feeders. The long stroke, low frequency motion stratifies the flow of material so the coarse dockage can be effectively "floated" off the top screen and the fines can be quickly screened. With better screening motion and a wider surface area, efficient screening is achieved even at very high capacities.

ADVANTAGES
|
- Dramatically reduced installation and operating costs
- Lowers operating and maintenance costs by requiring only 2-10% of the feed to be
aspirated
- Versatile - soybeans, corn, sunflower seeds and other coarse grains can also be
screened on the same primary screener
- Operational flexibility - wheat can be shipped immediately or cleaned in secondary
system to reclaim additional wheat
